The Creation and Fall of Man

A. That man as the direct creation of God, (spirit, soul, and body), not in any sense the product of evolutionary development, but made in the image of God.

B. That in a sinless environment and with no sin nature, by personal disobedience to the revealed will of God.

1. Adam became a sinful creature and the progenitor of a fallen race (Genesis 3:1-24, Genesis 5:3; Romans 5:12)

2. Who are universally sinful in both nature and practice (Romans 3:23, Romans 5:12; Ephesians 2:3)

3. Who are alienated from the life and family of God (John8:42-44; Ephesians 4:18)

4. Who are under the righteous judgement and wrath of God (Romans 1:18, Romans 3:19-20; John 3:36)

5. Who have within themselves no possible means of recovery or salvation (Matthew 19:25-26; Mark 7:21-23; Romans 7:18)
